AI4Copernicus partner, Mr. Sergio Albani of SatCen, participated in the Copernicus Relays 2022 AI4Copernicus conference with the topic Earth Observation and Artificial Intelligence for a Safer World which took place in Brussels on 3 May 2022.

Mr. Albani gave a presentation titled AI & EO challenges for security and defence, where he also mentioned AI4Copernicus project.

The Copernicus Relays of Belgium (Skywin, ISSeP, Spacebel and VITO) and the Belgian Royal Military Academy organised the Earth Observation and Artificial Intelligence for a Safer World event, the second edition of the AI4Copernicus conference. International experts specialising in the use of AI and EO technologies to tackle challenges related to Security and Defense attended the event that took place in Brussels and online on 3rd May 2022.
