Our project was presented for the first time to the public on Thursday 25 February 2021 during the online workshop: Artificial Intelligence for Big Satellite Data – Greece at the forefront of European Research.

AI4Copernicus project coordinator Dr. Vangelis Karkaletsis, NCSR Demokritos presented to the research community what the project aims to achieve in the next three years.

The online workshop was organised by six leading Greek research institutions showcasing how Machine Learning can unlock the potential of Big Earth Observation Data for socio-environmental good.
