After three years of excellent collaboration amongst the ICT49 Cluster of projects, and as the sibling projects close at the end of this year, the opportunity has arisen for one last time to collaborate and present the final results of all our projects in Bologna, Italy along with the AI-on-Demand (AIoD) Platform in Bologna, Italy.

The AIoD Community Forum and ICT49 event titled The AI-on-Demand Platform: Success Stories and Opportunities for European Industry and Society, unfolded over two insightful days on 13-14 November 2023 bringing together the vibrant community of European-funded projects around the AIoD Platform dedicated to advancing Artificial Intelligence.

The forum aimed to explore crucial facets of the AIoD and participants were involved in discussions surrounding the EU Strategy and Legislation, promising opportunities for SMEs, and the vital role of Digital Innovation Hubs within the AI Ecosystem. Moreover, the event showcased the achievements and success stories of the ICT49 projects andf the winning projects that resulted from their open calls, focusing on their impactful contributions to the advancement of SMEs.

On the first day, discussions delved into the innovation and research initiatives spurred by the AIoD Platform. Attendees had the opportunity to explore the cutting-edge developments and research findings that are contributing to the continuous evolution of AI technologies. The emphasis on research and innovation underlines the commitment of the AIoD community to remain at the forefront of advancements in AI. On the second day, the spotlight was on the ICT49 Cluster of projects, which presented innovative services developed on the AIoD platform. Attendees gained insights into the diverse array of services that have been instrumental in propelling the AIoD community forward. These innovations are poised to play a crucial role in shaping the landscape of artificial intelligence applications in European industries.
