Type of proposal: Social Challenges

Beneficiaries: individuals

Total available EU funding: €10.000 (€ 5k for each social challenge / 2 social challenges to be funded)

WHAT ACTIVITIES WILL WE SUPPORT?

Identifying, defining and addressing particular social problems/challenges that can be solved using Artificial Intelligence and Earth Observation Data (1^st Stage), by SMEs that will be selected in the 4^th AI4Copernicus Open Call for Use-Cases (2^nd Stage)

Type of proposal: Experiments (The end output of the experiments should be at min TRL6)

Beneficiaries: SMEs, startups, spin-offs (single partner projects)

Funding: up to € 80k for each prototype (8 prototypes to be funded) (proposals that exceed €60.000 and up to €80.000 will need to clearly justify their budgetary request)

Beneficiaries: Technology-advanced SMEs, start-ups, micro-enterprises from EU Member States and/or Associated Countries (single-beneficiary micro-projects)
Total available EU funding: €300.000 (€ 30K for each micro-project / 10 micro-project to be funded)

WHAT ACTIVITIES WILL WE SUPPORT?

Micro-projects for testing the AI4Copernicus project services, utilising Copernicus data and the European AI on Demand Platform, focusing on any industrial domain.

5th Open Call Q1 2023 (February 2023 – March 2023)
Submission Deadline: 31^st March 2023
Selection: April 2023
Projects Acceleration: June 2023 – October 2023
